The SOAR Group PT program has been designed to give you all the benefits of personal training combined with the dynamics and enjoyment of group training. It’s not group fitness as you may know it. It is a carefully mapped out progressive program incorporating all the most important aspects of a Personal Training service.

Here’s the outline of what is included in the Program.

Strength Workouts

3 different strength programs per week, each targeting certain muscle groups and movement patterns. The strength programs have been designed that although 3 sessions a week is optimal, doing any 2 will give you a well rounded strength program each week. All your workouts are recorded on our training app so there is no guess work or trying to remember what you did last time. This ensures you make controlled but constant progress.

The strength programs follow a 7-week cycle followed by a testing week so we can continually check your progress is on track.  Every new cycle involves 3 completely new strength programs to keep eliciting positive load and change to your body as well as starve off the boredom of doing the same exercises month after month.

Conditioning

There are 3 conditioning classes each week. Cardio can be hard work, so we make sure to put variety into our conditioning session. No endless running up and down.

Our conditioning sessions are heavily equipment based (think Kettlebells, ropes, sleds, wall balls, dead balls, etc, you get the picture) so you won’t get bored, and you are working on functional strength at the same time.

You work at your pace and intensity level. There will be plenty of encouragement, but this is not a competitive space, so you get to do you, where you are currently at.

PT Service

Yes, this is Group training, but you will be getting a personal training service. Goal setting sessions – When you start out you will have a goal setting session so we know exactly what your end goal is and can give you the support you need to make those goals your reality.

You have access to regular body composition scans if it aligns with your goals. We will give you your own at home mobility program for those areas that don’t move like they used too.

Most of our clients train with us long term. Goals and circumstances change over time. As such we encourage you to have regular re-evaluation sessions with your coach whenever you feel it is required.
